Westfield man in serious condition after semi accident

A 35-year-old man is in serious condition after a one vehicle accident outside of Osborn.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, 35-year-old Brad Easton of Westfield, Iowa was driving westbound on US Route 36, 1 mile west of Osborn when he travelled off the north side of the roadway. Easton then overcorrected causing his semi truck load to shift, resulting in his vehicle falling on its passenger side. Easton's vehicle came to a rest facing west, partially blocking the roadway.

Easton was transported to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. The crash was investigated by this Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Dekalb County Sheriff's Office.
